Every year the Southport and Stratfield Volunteer Fire Departments organize a Memorial Day Picnic for friends and family of the departments. Annually over 500 people attend, at no charge. Our goal is to have a day of family gathering as a thank you for what the families give for us to be able to do what we do. We support the event through donations and through sales in our program booklet.
